“Critic's Pick!”

Stephen Sondheim’s deliciously bleak musical dissection of shattered dreams fits beautifully into the snug space of West Coast Ensemble’s new digs. Richard Israel’s adroit direction is well-paced, makes excellent use of it stage, and never flags.
